19 Décembre 2018 , Rédigé par Bioécologie Publié dans #Thèses - Post-doc - Emploi - Bourse

The Biosphere Impact Studies unit of SCK•CEN at Mol (Belgium) offers a 4-year PhD position for research on an exciting new project looking at developing an eco-friendly and cost-effective technology to remove radioactive pollution from waste water using the aquatic plant Lemna minor (duckweed). By generating new understanding on the plant uptake of radionuclides in aquatic environments, the project is expected to yield important benefits for the protection of humans and the environment from radiation, whilst introducing new environmentally friendly depollution techniques for remediation projects.

We are looking for a student with a background on radioecology, bio-engineering, biology. Could you kindly communicate this information to potential candidates?
